Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox was able to survive on a student's stipend working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when as compared to the performance of the other students. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. But she quit prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she formed the pop duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise, both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in the month of October 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprising four tracks that were composed by Lennox. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let it go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independent album.
