Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Her older brothers are: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick has always loved dancing, singing and performing show puppets. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting into the world of entertainment. Her first major role came in 1964 when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. McCormick also starred in a commercial in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the lead role in the play Wind It Up and It breaks, a production in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen from among 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to be the youngest of three towheaded girls in the upcoming TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick revealed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year period on the program. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. This would have occurred, she says. However, the timing for our marriage was not the right one.
