Anita Barone
Anita Barone, a stage actor with a variety of abilities, mainly connected to sitcoms in TV, got the best chance to shine on screen as the wife of Jeff Foxworthy on the ABC show "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired on the network for one season between 1995 and 1996. Barone appeared on the stage for the first time at age five in Detroit when her family relocated from St Louis. She was 23 when Barone was already in over 50 productions. The majority of these were in regional and university theaters. She played Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle,"" as well as Juliet as well as Juliet in "Romeo as well as Juliet." Her first screen appearance was in the minor part of "The Roseary Murders" with a cameo appearance in "Ricochet" in 1996, as well as the lead in indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" that was released in the year 1996. Barone was hired by NBC in the 1990-91 time frame as a shareholder for "Carol and Company", the ill fated plan of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety program. Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air with her co-star in "Daddio", NBC 2000 together co-starring with Michael Chiklis.
